# Ability to publish private videos from Vimeo

I’m just noticing the same problem. This is a real roadblock to using Elfsight on a paid plan. Vimeo’s own Showcases allow videos that are hidden from Vimeo but publicly embeddable to be included. I happen to prefer Elfsight’s styling but it’s not possible for me to make my videos publicly available. Is there an ETA for this or do I need to look elsewhere for a solution?

This is a dealbreaker in terms of upgrading to a paid Elfsight plan. The functionality works fine in Vimeo’s own Showcase feature but their styling isn’t ideal.

I totally understand your concern, and I am really sorry that the hidden videos aren’t supported in our app yet!

We see the high demand for this feature and our devs will look into ways to make it happen. Rest assured, I’ll keep you abreast of any changes here 🙂
