Our devs investigated this situation. The sudden spike in views on the widget was caused by automated traffic, most likely originating from Chinese IP addresses (based on their ASN).

Unfortunately, we cannot completely prevent all bots from using up the views. However, as an apology, we have increased your Google Reviews subscription view limit by 4,800 views until the next views reset date (March 8).

If the issue occurs again, we recommend contacting your hosting provider to explore possible solutions :slightly_smiling_face:
